An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Off East Coast of North Island, New Zealand, at 0349 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre, with a depth of 43.7 km, was initially determined to be at 35.68 degrees south latitude and 179.65 degrees east longitude.-Bernama
