A Bronx teacher was arrested Friday for sexually abusing a student, police said.
Dori Myers, 29, a teacher at The New School for Leadership and the Arts in Kingsbridge, was arrested at her Rockland County home just before 9 p.m. and charged with sexual assault, authorities said.
Investigators found out about the abuse after the 14-year-old boy told a classmate, who notified the principal, cops said.
Myers has been a teacher at The New School since 2014 and has no prior disciplinary history, sources said.
“These allegations are deeply troubling and Ms. Myers was immediately reassigned away from students,” a Department of Education spokesman said .
