A candidate for judge of the Supreme court of the United States Brett Cavanaugh, under oath, denied the charges Christine Blazey Ford alleging harassment on his part. We are talking about the events of 36 years ago: at that time 17-year-old Cavanaugh was in high school.
Brett kavanaugh, judge: “I am here Today to tell the truth. I have never committed any sexual harassment, neither in high school nor in College, nowhere. The approval process of my candidacy becomes a national disgrace. Your coordinated and well-funded efforts to deprive me of my good name and destroy my family will not drive me into a corner. Dirty death threats to my family will bring me out. I may lose in the final voting. But you can’t make me give up. Never.”
Narrating the events of his life in the summer of 1982, when he was the alleged assault of Christine Blazey Ford, judge Cavanaugh was extremely excited. He was barely holding back tears, talking about how his ten year old daughter said “he wants to pray for Ford” and when the judge mentioned the support he received from women with whom he was friends. Cavanaugh said the situation is politicized.
Cavanaugh’s candidacy was proposed by President Donald trump. Democrats fear that if Cavanaugh will be the judge of the Supreme court, the balance of power in the court changed in favor of the conservatives.The outcome of the Senate hearings will determine whether Brett Cavanaugh to the Supreme judicial body of the country.
