Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said he does not expect Western fighters to be delivered to Ukraine in the near future. The Foreign Minister said this in an interview with Bild .
“I don’t expect the delivery of the fighters to happen in the near future, because this is a very difficult task in terms of logistics and technology,” Kuleba said.
He added that Ukraine wants the training of pilots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to begin now.
“We recommend starting training of Ukrainian pilots on Western aircraft now, so that when a decision is made to provide aircraft, they don’t waste time and many months on training,” the Foreign Minister stressed.
