August is rapidly coming to a close, which means football season is coming back and basketball fans are in hiding until October.

Well, not so fast.

Some of the top basketball players in the country will compete in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which tips off Aug. 25. The games will take place across the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia, and the tournament will be played through Sept. 10. The top basketball players from around the world are fighting for a World Cup championship.

The United State lost to France in the quarterfinals of the 2019 FIBA World Cup, snapping a streak of two consecutive World Cup championships. But, with a reshaped roster and coaching staff, there’s optimism that the U.S. can come out on top.

When does Team USA play in the FIBA Basketball World Cup?

All of USA’s group stage games will be played in the Philippines. Only the group stage schedule is available.

Saturday, Aug. 26: U.S. vs. New Zealand at 8:40 a.m. ET

Monday, Aug. 28: U.S. vs. Greece at 8:40 a.m. ET
